Running Update
This week I tapered to get ready for the Surf City Half.
Mon: rest
Tuesday: 4 mi
Wed: rest
Thurs: 3.25 mi
Fri: rest
Sat: rest
Sun: Surf City Half! 13.1 mi
Total: 20.35
After my run Thursday my foot started to bother me, but I listened to my foot during the race and walked when it started to bother me. The course was fun; we ran right along the beach and besides a flooded mile 8, we didn't see a drop of rain. Now, I'm taking a week to rest my foot and marathon training with Team in Training begins.... yay!!! My mileage will go down a bit but it'll pick up quickly.
