It's been a mad rush at the office the last couple of months. I haven't had much opportunity to shoot, but the last 2 days I've had some visitors to the field next to us so I managed to take a few minutes to shoot. The first, a Great Blue Heron, has been in the field about every other morning for the last 2 or 3 weeks and the Great Egret has been hanging around for a couple weeks as well. Unfortunately, I can't get them catching fish in a field, but you do what you can.

Nice looking birds even without fish. Why do they come to your field? Do you think they want to have their pictures taken?
Very cool photos. Time to start your own calendar of birds? Have you heard of BirdsEye? Sounds interesting.
