Olympic training facility
On Friday we had the opportunity to see my cousin's son, K, compete in a skills training competition at the Olympic training center in Chula Vista. He was the east representative for soccer. It was great to see their entire family and K did an excellent job. C was excited because he got to drink 'Olympic coke.' :)
We were afraid traffic would be terrible on a Friday night, but we made it back without incident. Good start to the weekend!

Wow that must have been fun. I have always been a winter olympic fan. I blame it on the 1980 hockey gold medal Team. I played hockey at the time and watching that was like watching a dream made real. Plus I am a closet curling fan.

Do people still watch the olympics? I guess so. Did you hear someone is trying to get pole dancing as a competition?
W isn't lying about the curling. I never even heard of the sport until I met him. I was always a summer olympic fan. I love the gymnastics and the track and field.
Watching curling = watching paint dry. Just kidding W!
