Over the weekend C and I went to pick out the stone we want for the patio. The patio will pretty much take up the entire area you see in the first photo C uploaded in the post below. The picture of the stone gives a general idea of what it'll look like. We're going for very natural. The picture was taken with my phone though, so the lighting is a bit off.
Anyway, yesterday I showed our landscaper and he said the patio was going to look 'sad' because there was no color. We thought it was one of the most natural looking stones there, and the brownish tint matches the ugly wall surrounding the yard. I guess we'll see who's right soon! :)

Don't listen the them, the grey will be a nice compliment to the sand color of the wall and house. That's coming from a banker though so consider the sorce.

I think it will look fabulous. The guy is probably used to seeing EVERYTHING brown. The nice grey adds the hominess that it needs.
