As C mentioned below, we went to the beach anticipating a good sunset but the clouds wouldn't cooperate. I wanted to share some of the non-sunset pictures. I didn't blend the second photo very well, but you get the idea. Best viewed large -- click on'm to make them bigger.

Those rocks in the second photo are pretty interesting. What do you mean by blending the second picture?
These were done with multiple exposures (camera on tripod) -- to get the foreground properly exposed and the sky/sun area. Then, in photoshop, you 'blend' them together so everything is properly exposed.
In the sky I think it looks all blotchy, you can tell I tried to blend (poorly).
