So today C received an email saying that two homes from the last rounds of new homes were available. If we're interested, we'll be placed on a list, and the person highest on the list (based on when you turned in your housing material) would be offered the home. We need to decide by noon tomorrow.

We're already on a list for a lottery (to take place in October) for new homes being built this year. Supposedly to be complete early next year. We got to rank all the available homes and the lottery will decide if you get anything and in what order people choose. They're either 3 or 4 bedrooms. One of the streets is pretty close to a somewhat major road.

The biggest drawback of the home currently available is that driveways share an alley. One of the houses is pretty small, so we're definitely not interested in that one. But we're going to put our name in for the other one (4 bedroom) and see what happens...

What would you do? Put your name in for a known home or take your chance with the lottery?
