1. It rained -- see, there's proof. There are rain drops on the leaf. It didn't last very long, but it was enough to fill the air with that 'just rained' smell, if you know what I mean. It was the very first time it's really rained since we've been here.
It started with a very very very cloudy day (for OC standards) and continued through to a very cloudy sunset.
2. We got our kitchen/dining room table and chairs! They're definitely pretty large. You can see the table and chairs and the extra chairs that we had to put in the living room area. We're not sure what color scheme we should go with.... what do you think? What's a good kitchen color?
Doesn't F look right at home on the table? Yeah, that's probably not a good thing!

Ah, I like your set. Have you checked out any catalogues? They always give me ideas. Can you make the table any smaller? How about mustard/adobe for the walls?
Unfortunately can't paint the walls. Table can't get smaller, but it has two extra leaves. Not that we can use them...
i was going to suggest mustard color too. If you can't paint go with large pictures with strong red and yellow tones.
We'll have to see red/mustardy color photos we can come up with.
