The details

We're moving. To southern California to be exact.

This blog will chronicle our move from the east coast (central CT) to the west coast (southern CA) and everything after.

Here's the timeline:
June 23 -- all of our stuff gets boxed up
June 24 -- our boxed-up stuff gets put on a truck and begins its journey across the country. We start our journey to my parents house. We'll stay there for 7 days. (Thanks Mom and Dad!)
June 29 -- C and I (and F) fly to CA!

We'll initially be moving into a faculty apartment. We were very fortunate to be offered an on-campus apartment -- we'll save a bunch of money and it'll give us time to figure out how to live in southern California's crazy housing market.
